Atos Research & Innovation (ARI) is the R&D node of Atos and a global reference of innovation for the whole Atos group. Atos participates in R&D projects in national or international consortia that enrich Atos’ technological portfolio. Our background of 27 years participating in EC projects helps us reinforce our links with our customers by bringing research outcomes to Atos’ customers and empowering our role as source of innovative ideas. Atos is a founding member of the European Technology Platform NESSI (Networked European Software and Services Initiative), and is member of eSafety Forum, ARTEMIS, NEM, EOS and Nanomedicine, as well as of the Spanish platforms Logistop for Integral Logistics, eMOV for mobility, Railway, Maritime, eSEC for security, PROMETEO for embedded systems, PLANTETIC for ICT and electronics and es.Internet for Future Internet technologies. Within ARI, the Trustworthy Services and Systems (TSS) laboratory conducts research in trust, security and privacy domains for the improvement of IT security, as well as the increase of trust and dependability in systems and services. Our research areas include among others: cybersecurity, compliance & policy management, secure software engineering, security in virtualized environments, automated reconfiguration of security and high performance Security Event and Information Management (SIEM) systems. Examples of recent projects in which Atos has provided technical expertise include ACDC (Advanced Cyber Defence Centre), CYSPA (cybersecurity alliance), MASSIF (next generation SIEM, led by Atos), POSECCO (linking low level configurations and policies to high level goals) and ANIKETOS (trustworthiness and secure dynamic service composition).
